Tractor Ted was inspired by our children who, at his creation, ranged from 0-6. At this age our children were fascinated by tractors, machinery, animals and really anything to do with farms. David, a Somerset farmer, was keen to show children the importance of modern-day farming and Alexandra, mother of three, was desperate to find a programme that fulfilled her children’s desires - to see REAL tractors and farm animals. So Tractor Ted was born. He cheerfully narrates each programme which all show in an entertaining and informative way the workings of a modern day farm, whether producing a food or showing the changes through the season. They all include fantastic footage of amazing machines giving a real insight as to how they work. In the most recent programmes we have included great singalong songs. The company has grown tremendously and now has a worldwide base. This year we have launched the first in a series of books to compliment the programmes and we also have some great children’s clothing. Tractor Ted travels nationwide to major shows, fairs and supermarket openings.
